The Administration In order to maintain, educate, train, and rehabilitate orphaned or fatherless children, the Department of Social Services, under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Welfare, manages Childrens Family.

Those responsible for carrying out the programme include:

The management of government child families falls within the purview of the Department of Social Services Institutions Branch. The Additional Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Director, Social Service Officer at headquarters, and Custodian/Deputy Custodian at field level, who oversees the management of government child families, make up the Director (Institution). The District Social Service Offices Deputy Director and Assistant Directors are in charge of supervising the field-level institutions and facilitating communication between them and the main office.
